I also seek the intellectual stimulation of legal work. I have worked with lawyers on various business transactions during my working life and I have found the work interesting. I have worked in both the public sector and private sector in administration management and company secretarial roles. Each role had a legal aspect to it whether it was adjudicating on public law; dealing with commercial contracts; checking the legality of marketing and advertising activities or ensuring compliance with EU regulations or the Companies Act. I enjoyed work which involved understanding the law and providing solutions to commercial situations.
